FMF Breakfast Crackers (formerly Cabin Bread)
Breakfast Crackers is the new name for Cabin Bread.
What we all knew as Cabin Bread has been renamed as Breakfast Crackers, and I must say that does sound rather more appealing.
To the unitiated, Cabin Bread is actually a large, fairly tasteless dry cracker. Great for anyone on a diet! I fondly remember Cabin Bread from a rather scary jaunt on a trading ship around the outer lying islands of the southern Cook Islands group. Cabin Bread was the only food I could keep down!
Cabin Bread can be found on many South Pacific islands, and is still sold extensively in New Zealand, just now as FMF Breakfast Crackers. It has a long shelf life, making it perfect for taking on the yacht or storing in the pantry.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, vegetable oil, antioxidants, sugar, salt, preservative. May contain traces of nuts.
